Visual progress

I wanted to share two exciting developments in our factories in Renton and North Charleston.

The fuselage for the first 737 MAX 9, the largest of the new single-aisle airplane family, arrived by rail on Friday in Renton from Wichita. The MAX 9 will have its first flight next year.

And at Boeing South Carolina, the first 787-10 has now moved into Position 1 in final assembly, where it is now sporting the -10 tail. Position 1 is where the wing-to-body joins are completed.

Both programs are right on schedule. Congrats to the 737 and 787 teams.
